India 469 & 100/0 (23.0 ov) & Australia 268
Fantastic Day for India, barring the second session of course. They started the day by picking up three wickets in the first session. Then Australia came back well in the afternoon but could not stop India from bowling them out with the lead still over 200.
They then decided to bat on and why not. Gambhir 46* and Sehwag 53* have just batted beautifully to ensure that the Indians not only score runs but score them quickly. Amit Mishra's first test match with 5 Wkts.
That brings up India's 100. It's been a superb batting display from the Indian openers and the hosts are now effectively 301 for no loss.
And that's stumps.
India dominated the day on either side of a stubborn partnership between Shane Watson and Brett Lee. It was a day to remember for debutant Amit Mishra who took five wickets as the Australians failed to pick his variations.
Things are looking bleak for Australia now and they'll need a much-improved performance from their batsmen if they are to salvage a draw.
