It is not just Virender Sehwag who lied about his fitness, but the Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself was not fit enough.
Headlines Today has exclusive access to the official fitness report of Team India given to the BCCI before the tournament began.
And the report says that not just Zaheer and Sehwag but even Dhoni, Yuvi and RP Singh were carrying injuries into the tournament.
According to the report, five key Indian players carried injuries into world T20.
Apart from Zaheer Khan and Virender Sehwag, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and RP Singh were also unfit.
Dhoni was suffering from a lower back strain while Yuvraj carried a grade 1 tear in his shoulder into world T20.
And RP Singh had a twisted right calf.
So was it form, fatigue or fitness due to which Team India was routed out of Twenty20 World Cup.
Because if you are a fan of the Indian cricket team and Dhoni specifically then you have been lied to.
