    *Karachi:* Breaking News! As anticipated, Younus Khan has been sacked as the captain of Pakistan cricket team. Mohammad Yousuf will replace him as the new skipper. Younus was under fire after he dropped Mohammad Yousuf from the deciding game against New Zealand, which costPakistan the series.


    It could be recalled that Younus Khan had led Pakistan to the Twenty20 World Cup victory. Although he retired from T20 cricket, he continued to lead Pakistan in ODI format. There were allegations of match-fixing against Younus Khan, after Pakistan's semi-final loss against New Zealand in ICC Champions Trophy, but the PCP reposed faith on him.

    It was alleged that Younus Khan was not doing enough to motivate the Pakistan players and his relations with some of the senior players were not good enough to encourage team efforts and help Pakistan win matches.
